Although I had vowed that I would not be "one of those people who posts pictures of food," I now find myself "eating" my words- ha ha! My husband is trying a new a way of eating. I also do not like to use the word, "diet" because a trainer I used to work with wisely pointed out to me, "Diet is WHAT you eat." I like this explanation, because it really makes you think about the phrase, "I'm going on a diet." The new way of eating we are exploring at my home is high protein, no sugar, no carbs. As I was preparing for our annual family beach trip, I realized that I was tired of carrying multiple bag for my two toddler boys. I thought to myself, "There must be a better way." I turned to my friend Pinterest for some inspiration. I found a couple of great pins about making "restaurant kits." I loved the idea, but wanted to find a way to combine a restaurant kit and a diaper/snack bag into ONE BAG!!! Here is what I did: I took the Hanna Andersson backpack we've been using for the past year or so as a diaper/toy bag and emptied it out. It washed great in the washing machine, too!
